Sherwood Renovations renovated our kitchen last spring and we were extremely pleased with both the process and the end result. After having Brian do extensive renovations on our basement, kitchen and bathroom, we’re delighted we hired him to do the work. It was referrals that brought us to him and it’s no wonder. In addition to being a consummate professional and perfectionist, he is an absolute pleasure to be around (which is vital when you have someone working with you so closely for an extended period of time). Our home couldn’t have been in better hands. And I know we’ll work with him again.

We hired Sherwood Renovations to build a dormer on our house and create 2 bedrooms where there was one, for our 2 daughters. At the same time, we had our main bathroom re-done. We had a previous (mediocre) experience with a large well known and award winning Ottawa company prior to working with Brian and the experiences were like night and day.

Brian is experienced and knowledgeable, bringing good ideas on design and finishing. Brian was very good at communicating options and addressing our questions or concerns. One of the things we appreciated most is that the worksite was always left clean which minimized disruptions. His contract terms were good. We are happy with the quality of his work and enjoy our renovated home every day.

We met with a few contractors before choosing Brian for our bathroom, mudroom and laundry room renos. From our first meeting with him, we could tell he understood our space and our vision. His ability to listen to what we wanted, work with our budget and communicate were extremely important to us. Brian’s excellent communication skills, his progress reports and updates throughout the project meant there were no surprises. We would not hesitate to recommend Brian and plan to use his services in future projects.
